TRUCK TYRES
A comprehensive & most importantly flexible service is offered to meet the needs of all hauliers. The majority of this work is carried out onsite by our mobile fleet with the facilities and space in our Hailsham branch to work on lorries of all sizes. The needs and preferences of hauliers vary enormously and the
combination of our extensive experience and independence in purchasing ensure that these are always
interpreted correctly providing the best available value in the market.
MOBILE FITTING & RESPONSE TIMES
There a 6 vans equipped to deal with the needs of commercial fleet customers in the South East. This ensures that emergencies and routine tyre changes can be dealt with on a same day basis with response times geared to the needs of individuals. One hour responses are typical where that is the requirement and all customers will speak to a trained member of staff who know's your business and particular
requirements. The individual who takes your call deals with the whole enquiry from beginning to end. In the event of an emergency, all we need is a postcode and a tyre spec to despatch a fitter and this can be done
within minutes of taking your call.
A continued investment in our office based management systems has resulted in an efficient internet based system where any member of staff can check on the status of any job and the location of all our fitters from any computer in all the branches or indeed any internet enabled PC. We still work on the basis that a single
point of contact is the best way to deal with your whole enquiry from initial call to completion, despite this flexibility.
BRAND PREFERENCES AND MAXIMISING INVESTMENT
Our complete independence means that we have total flexibility in the brands that we are able to offer. Requirements vary from good quality budget tyres through to premium brands such as Michelin, Continental, Firestone, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Dunlop & Goodyear. We also offer some lesser known brands that offer exceptional value for money and wear comparable to the premium brands at a significantly reduced cost. A good example is Double Coin Tyres that have been manufactured in China since the 1930's. We know we're onto a winning formula when our customers report that tyres that cost over £100 less than a premium branded tyre outlast them on the same axle.
NATIONWIDE COVERAGE & 24 HOUR RESPONSE
We are able to offer all our account customers nationwide coverage through two national networks. The call is still made to one of our Hailsham branch no (01323 845544) as out of hours calls are automatically forwarded to an emergency no. We organise a suitable company in any part of the country to carry out the work for you. All members of the scheme are vetted for suitability.
STOCK LEVELS
Unfortunately not all tyre changes are part of a planned maintenance program. Emergencies are commonplace and downtime is critical. A continued commitment is made to keep in stock all sizes, both common and rare, in 17.5, 19.5 and 22.5 inch rims. We also carry a variety of brands in these sizes covering everything from budget to premium branded products. This ensures that we can maintain the crucial same day service that our customers require.
We also tailor our stock to suit the specific requirements of individual customers. We work closely with you to ensure that you preferred brands are always available.
FLEET INSPECTIONS
We carry out regular programmed fleet inspections for our account customers to help ensure that you stay on the right side of the law. These are provided free of charge on a discretionary basis dependent on monthly spend. All inspections are all tailored to a customer's particular requirement.
SUPPLY ONLY TYRES
We can supply tyres on a supply only basis for customer's with their own fitting facilities. This can normally be done on a same day basis and delivery is normally free to our account customers.
MAJOR REPAIRS
We carry out major repairs on truck tyres. This can be done in-house or for more serious damage by a specialist sub-contractor. All repairs are carried out to the relevant British Standards.
TYRE CUTTING
We carry out tyre cutting regularly to maximise the investment in your tyres.
